Giulia Munari (1987) hails from Modena in Italy. In High School she first became acquainted with industrial design and developed an intense interest in materials, textures, and the various ways to integrate them.
She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Art Direction from Accademia di Comunicazione in Milan in 2009. Already while studying she garnered attention from renowned professionals, which led her to work for Lisa Farmer at Process4, and Claudia Neri at Teikna Design Inc.

Upon graduation, she relocated to Germany to launch her career with Meta Design in Berlin and Jung von Matt in Hamburg. After moving back to the german capital (Summer 2010) followed a period of freelance work for various artists and agencies in the fields of advertising, fashion, and music. Her clients have included Arne Eberle Press+Sales as well as fashion advertising agency Diazo and the young berlin brand JMB - Jewellery. Between 2013-2016 she worked as Art Director and Designer for brands such as Iphoria, Monoqi and Pawaka Eyewear.
