She is an art director, set designer and visual artist based between Milan and Paris.
Fascinated by materials and textures from an early age, she pursued her studies in Graphic Design and Art Direction in Milan. A ten-year working experience in Berlin from 2009, led Munari to collaborate with a vast array of creative agencies, music artists, performers and designers, giving space to her innate penchant for interdisciplinarity.
A tireless researcher and experimenter, Munari’s sui generis capacity to interpret and translate creative ideas, progressively catalysed her in the fashion world, contributing as an art director and set designer to some of the most iconic brands, photographers and editorial platforms.
Through specific manipulations of matter, light and space, Munari translates chimerical fantasies into arousing dream-infused scenarios.
Her distinctive visual alphabet is informed by the eccentricity of a restless collector (of glass flowers, food illustrations from the seventies, uncanny spiky vases or flirtatious shoes…) and a buoyant curiosity for contemporary cutting-edge experimentation from visual art, music, performance and theatre.
At times minimalistic and enigmatic, at times imbued by a free-spirited spontaneity, Munari’s artworks - whether a sugar sculpture or a dada furniture composition - irrevocably leave their observers spellbound.
